Somewhat of a “nuff said” moment for me. I think it could generate good discussion. Personally I’ve never left a movie thinking “wow that was life changing.” I have heard a lot of chatter recently about movies. Those very words I heard from someone who watched “the Blindside” which I still haven’t seen.

It was a great afternoon yesterday a McGregor’s Family Fest 2009! There was a ton of people there. If you came out, I hope that you had a lot of fun!

First thought: “Wow this is a lot of people!” Since I’ve been at McGregor we’ve started family fest at 5:30 or 6 in the evening, and it always started slow. This year we started at 3 and at 3 the were mobs of people. Not sure if it was the time or because it was a Saturday, but it was great to see that many people show up to get it started.

Second thought: “It’s soo dang hot!!” Through out the afternoon there were people that were feeling the effects of the temperature. I don’t think anyone got seriously injured, but several did get faint and one needed some medical attention. (I guess that’s serious) It felt more like a July 4th than a nice fall day.

Third thought: My team is amazing! Triplemsm had the pleasure of running the Hydration Station in the center of the soccer field.  I was running back and forth between making announcements and the the station… but didn’t even need to be there!  The leaders behind triplemsm are the best anywhere… they take whatever task given and knock it out of the park!  

We had a great celebration last night at Fort Myers Beach.  45+ people who have had there lives changed through a relationship with Jesus came to be baptized.
