student testimony from @triplemsm 12.09.09

We studied in Luke 2 where the angel herald’s the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. We challenged the students to be angels, meaning to share their faith with others. This is a testimony form Sydney Ferguson that we played during this service. Sydney did an amazing job sharing what God laid on her heart and Ben did an amazing job with the editing!

SWEET TEAmwork

There is just something about SWEET TEA in the south.  Every good southerner has an opinion about it. Here are a few of my observations about southerners and really good SWEET TEA:

  • People will drive out of their way to get it.
  • People will tell others about it, even if they don’t really care.
  • Other people will go to that restaurant/café/truck stop even if they don’t particularly like sweet tea. (Basically they know if the sweet tea is good, they must be doin’ something right)

The dynamic of your team will either drive people toward you or away from you. And, in our case, will drive people toward Christ or away from Christ.

Within our student ministry, we have been through several seasons of changes, but none of them compare to what God has in store. God has led Backstagehsm and Triplemsm to join forces (so to speak) to reach the students of Lee County and beyond. Over the past several months TEAM has taken on new meaning. Working closely with others means added resources, better quality and more support. Ben, Meg and I along with our volunteers are committed to becoming a SWEET TEAm. Cheesy – “I know” but it’s going to be worth it.

Christmas light show… I would hate to be this guys neighbor!

Christmas light show… I would hate to be this guys neighbor!

We went to this house last night and watched the show with Jonathan and Tyler.  They had a great time.  As you can see it is amazing, but I’m sure their electricity bill is too.  I hope you enjoy it! The house is in Cape Coral… 908 SW 4th St.

A house to rival the Griswald’s
