#5 >> Ducktales – huey, Lois and Duey and of course Scrooge McDuck! I loved those guys!

#4 >> The smurfs, but I’m not gonna lie, asreal and gargamel scared me.

#3 >> the Flintstones, it was definitely re-runs but i liked ‘em.

#2 >> Captain Planet … Hard to admit, but yup!

#1 >> Scooby Doo, I always wanted a dog that could talk!

So…what’s your favorite cartoon from when you were a kid??

I’ve got so much to be excited about right now!!

Tonight we start our first WEC Community Group.. I feel like I’ve been waiting a year for this to happen. It really has only been 3 months. Just to let you know how excited we are for this group, we spent most of last night hanging pictures and decorating the house. We haven’t done that in 5 years… REALLY!

Waters Edge Church Hampton is edging closer to opening. Been praying for a while that everything would continue to go smoothly as we get closer and closer to opening the doors. This past weekend reminded me of the potential to see peoples lives changed and change the way they think about church. In Yorktown we saw 42 people stand up and say they committed their lives to Christ. Please join me in praying for our new campus in Hampton.

On a side note. I was bummed out that the Black Eyed Peas didn’t do Ima be at the super bowl.. Prolly not the best lyrics, but definitely a catchy tune or auto-tune.

Overall.. I like the half-time show, what are you thoughts?

Went to the Kiln Creek Chick-fil-A with Ty and Kristi to get my free spicy chicken biscuit! I Breakfast sized mine, basically added bacon, egg and cheese to it. It was excellent! If you liked the spicy chicken sandwich then you’ll love the biscuit.

Have you gotten a spicy chicken biscuit? What were your thoughts?

You know that is what they did in college. M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday… you see a trend here. Then BAM!! R = Thursday.. WHAT??

This confused me for the 4 years that I was in college. I know why they did it.. but really.. Today I will use the R (like a good pirate) to hit some thoughts.

R – A grade I give myself for achieving my goals last year. I don’t think I hit one of them, but by the Grace of God I’m in the best place with my family and definitely a part of things that are much bigger than myself..

R – Rattle Snake.. We found one in our house last year. Yup.. not a fun moment.. but the story is great!!

R – Retaliation.. I never retaliate on a prank nor do I pull them.. but Kristi on the other hand…

R – Rook.. A great game.. I used to play with my grandmother. I absolutely loved the game. We have it, but I haven’t played with my sons yet. THAT WILL CHANGE.
